MUSICIAN, COMPOSER, PRODUCTION SECRETARY
KAIRI KOSK IS AN ESTONIAN IN MILAN. SHE’S MOSTLY HARMLESS. HAS A DEGREE IN COMPOSITION FROM THE ESTONIAN ACADEMY OF MUSIC AND THEATRE AND HAS ALSO COMPLETED SOME MASTER STUDIES AT THE SAME UNIVERSITY, STUDIED COMPOSITION AND ELECTRONIC MUSIC AT THE ROYAL CONSERVATORY OF THE HAGUE, AND ATTENDED MUSICOLOGY COURSES AT THE UNIVERSITY OF HELSINKI. CURRENTLY SHE IS PARTICIPATING AS A SINGER IN EARLY MUSIC COURSES IN THE EARLY MUSIC INSTITUTE IN MILAN. KOSK HAS WRITTEN MOSTLY CHAMBER MUSIC. HER BEST-KNOWN WORK IS ILLUMION (2001) FOR CELLO AND PHONOGRAM, WHICH HAS APPEARED IN THE REPERTOIRE OF THE CRASH ENSEMBLE FROM IRELAND. HER BIGGEST WORK IS THE CHAMBER BALLET THE LAST UNICORN (2000).
BESIDES HER CONTINUOUS SEARCH OF CHAOS, ONE MIGHT ALSO HIGHLIGHT AMONGST HER RECENT WORKS THE “ACOUSTIC OASIS” (OASI ACUSTICA, 2011), A PROJECT OF ACOUSTIC MUSIC IN NATURAL LANDSCAPES, AND “THE BEGINNING” (ALGUS, 2012), MUSIC FOR THE PLAY "THE IDIOT" BY CORRADO ACCORDINO AND MENABÒ PERFORMING STUFF (2012).
IN ADDITION, SHE ALSO WORKS AS A PHOTOGRAPHER, SINGER, TRANSLATOR, WEBMASTER, COMFORTER OF WHINERS AND A PRIVATE BANK. IN KAIRI KOSK’S OPINION THE MOST BEAUTIFUL THING IN LIFE IS THE FOG.
